NBS Booking Terms & Conditions

  1. NBS refers to Niseko Base Snowsports, which is a snow sports school owned and operated by SkiJapan.com.
  2. No employee, servant or agent of NBS has the authority to vary these conditions.
  3. In taking a lesson with NBS the customer, parent or guardian understands that snow sports can be dangerous and may result in injuries. NBS will not be held liable for any injuries or accidents occurring before, during or after service has taken place.
  4. All NBS services are non transferable.
  5. All NBS services are non refundable.
  6. NBS services require full payment at time of booking. NBS is not obliged to hold any booking until full payment is made.
  7. Payment of any monies constitutes acceptance of our booking terms and conditions.
  8. It is the responsibility of the person paying to inform all other people in the booking group of all booking conditions and general info. The person who pays shall be primarily liable for all fees for the entire group in the event of any cancellation.
  9. All NBS product and service offers are dependant on availability.
  10. All NBS multi day services are based on consecutive days.
  11. With the exception of extending consecutive rental days, elapsed products and services are not eligible for inclusion when upgrading to all/multi day services.
  12. All lessons have a meeting time 15 minutes before departure. Lessons are deemed to be cancelled after a 20 minute Instructor/Guide waiting period has elapsed.
  13. The "Super Saver" package does not allow for name, date or time changes.
  14. Cancellations by guest as the result of bad weather will not be refunded. Only official Resort staff can declare the mountain closed.
  15. NBS Group lessons will have a minimum number of 2 guests. Group lessons with only 1 guest will have a reduced lesson time of 25%.
  16. NBS reserves the right to merge groups of differing age and ability level.
  17. Children's age is up to 12 years old. Minimum age for a group ski lesson is 4 years old. Minimum age for a group snowboard lesson is 7 years old.
  18. Children's snowboard AM group lessons all begin at 10:30am.
  19. Private lesson prices are based on one person per instructor, an additional person cost is ¥3,000 per person. Maximum of 4 people to a private lesson.
  20. Rental exchange between different equipment types and sizes of the same value for no additional cost is available for:
    1. A maximum of 2 exchanges of the same type of equipment (ie: ski to ski).
    2. One exchange between different types of equipment (ie: ski to snowboard).
    3. Charges will apply if the new equipment is of a higher value.
    4. There are no refunds if equipment is of a lower rental value.
  21. Loss and/or damage of equipment will be charged at the full retail replacement rate. All recovery costs will be the responsibility of the person renting, the parent or legal guardian or the contracted person.
  22. Prebooked rental equipment will not be released before 5pm of the preceeding day or charged out at an additional days rental.
  23. All prebooked services with NBS must be paid in full, no later than 30 days prior to arrival. Within 30 days any NBS bookings will be made available for rebooking by other guests or may be cancelled.
  24. Rental storage for NBS rental guests only. Family consists of 4 persons.
  25. Discount package offers are only available at time of initial booking. All subsequent purchases will be at regular rates.
  26. Operating dates: December 1st to April 10th. Any bookings outside of this time period must be confirmed by an NBS Representative and full payment made prior to services taking place.
  27. Hours of operation: 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm from December 15th to March 15th. Outside of these dates hours may be reduced depending on customer numbers. Please check with staff.
